Getting There

The Governors Island Art Fair is open Every Weekend in September, Saturdays & Sundays (11am-6pm). Please note: The last ferry to the island is at 5pm.

Directions to the Governors Island Manhattan Ferry

The Governors Island ferry departs from the Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry in Lower Manhattan. The ferry terminal is accessible as follows:

1 to South Ferry station
4, 5 to Bowling Green station
R to Whitehall St. station

By Bus
M6, M9, and M15

By Car

Directions to the Governors Island Brooklyn Ferry

The free ferry from Brooklyn leaves from Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, located at the foot of Atlantic Avenue (corner of Columbia Street).

East River Ferry Service

NY Waterway's East River Ferry offers frequent service to Governors Island on Saturdays and Sundays over the summer. For departure times heading to Governors Island from all points North, click here. For departure times heading from Governors Island to all points North, click here.

Our Location on Governors Island

Upon exiting either of the ferries, walk to the LEFT along the water (on your left) around to the Red Hook, Brooklyn side of Governors Island. The Art Fair is in Building 12 (on your right). Follow the signs to Sections D,E, H, I & P of this large, former military residency complex which has been repurposed as exhibition space by 4heads.
